Keep's disconnecting from ISP

I had some work done on my computer and the guy who fixed
it must have reset my Outlook Express settings. I can log
on and download my email but then it immediately
disconnects. I can open Internet Explorer no problem and
stay online all I want without getting disconnected, but
as soon as I'm in Outlook Express, I have like 30 seconds
to download email and it boots me out. I've seen under
options and connection preferences that you can set it to
disconnect after sending and receiving email - I DO NOT
HAVE THAT SELECTED.

How else can I tell my Outlook Express to stay connected
unless I log off? This never used to be a problem so that
is why I think it's something the computer guy did when he
reinstalled it. HELP!
