Kerberos

Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

Suddenly it seems that kerberos no longer works for any of my entourage users, I see that I have valid tickets from my AD server, if I use safari I can log into webmail without signing in, so that tells me the Mac is playing nice with kerberos, when I try to use the wizard to setup the entourage account and verify my settings I get 'verification failed unknown user name or bad password, when I go back a page I see the Account ID is in red as though it is the cause of the failure, however it is correct.

Vitals Windows 2008 AD, Exchange 2003, AD over OD, everything is 10.5.7 - Intel, Entourage 2008 12.1.9

Things were working great until we had our (primary if you will) AD server die unexpectedly, all the fsmo roles were seized and everything is now working again save this one thing.

I did check DNS on the macs all good, I checked net and dcdiag on the AD server all good. I am pretty much at a loss, I can have the users enter the info manually and entourage works but before the new school year I need to get kerberos working, any help would be very much appreciated.

Try flushing your DNS caches on a few of your Macs to see if that helps
them. You'll need to run the following command in the Terminal found in
/Applications/Utilities:

Mac OS X 10.5
dscacheutil -flushcache

Mac OS X 10.4
lookupd -flushcache

Hope this helps!
