Kerning of fonts in OneNote gone awry after Photoshop Elements install

M

Mongo

Running OneNote sp1 on Windows XP

I installed Photoshop Elements and after that I noticed that the kerning of
fonts in OneNote went awry. In other words, descenders on the letters g and
y went missing and the spacing between letters seemed to be obviously wrong
( ie. AV should be bunnched).

Uninstalled Photoshop Elements and this didn't fix it.

Unfortunately couldn't do a System restore.

This hasn't affected any other applications.
Seems to impact all fonts - not just Verdana.

Any ideas on how I might fix this?

Try restarting. If that doesn't fix it, open the Fonts control panel, then
close it, and restart. That forces the fonts there to re-register, which
might fix a problem.

I tried doing this and it didn't fix the problem. Looks
like I'll need to re-ghost my machine.

Anyhow - put it down as a mysterious bug
