Hi,
Since upgrading from Office v.X to Office 2004, I have a problem in
Word 2004. An OpenType font I have to use, which had perfect kerning
in Word v.X, now has erratic kerning in Word 2004, both on the screen
and when printing: some letter spacings are not as good as they were
before, and it makes the text more difficult to read on screen and not
presentable when printed.
I've tried changing the 'kern fonts of (whatever) size and above'
setting in the Character Spacing option, but that has no visible
effect.
I'm currently back using Word v.X because of this, which is a shame as
Word 2004 adds some very useful features (for instance, I'm sick of
the 31 character filename limit!).
Can anyone please help?
Kind regards - Alex.
