To Whom Can Reply:

I live abroad in Asia doing documentary video with my
computer. I purchased my Dell Latitude 840c in 2002 with
a complimetary version of Microsoft Office XP, in the
USA. But because of my line of profession I am frequently
reinstalling the software on my computer. I cannot run
the Word Office XP program because I have just initiated
my computer. Nor can I call the USA 1800 phone number
from here. Is there a code number you cam give me? Is
there a possible default key number I could enter to make
Word run?

Hi Rebecca,

If you're talking about activating an
installed copy of MS Office then you can use
the telephone activation method and
enter the country where you are presently located
you should see a localized phone number.

If you don't have the installation code for the
product you'll need to contact Dell and you should
be able to find email or localised phone support
through their http://dell.com website.
