Key-combos for Styles wanted

D

Daiya Mitchell

Tools | Customize, Keyboard shortcuts, select Styles in left column, look
for your desired styles in the right column, look below for the existing
shortcut. If there isn't one or you don't like it, create one.

With Styles, where you don't have to guess at the name of the command, it's
probably quicker to look it up than it is for me to give you the
instructions. The right column will jump to the letter of the alphabet you
type.

I'm needing some keyboard shortcuts for applying styles. Do any
already exist within Word 2000? Specificially --

Default paragraph font --
Normal style --
Heading 1 style --
Heading 4 style --

Thanks!

Ctrl+Shift+N for Normal style
Ctrl+Alt+1 for Heading 1
Ctrl+Spacebar for Default Paragraph Font

You can assign shortcuts for the others (or change the built-in shortcuts
for these) following Daiya's instructions.

Wod -- I never knew about assigning shortcuts like Diaya wrote! I'm
so excited I think I'll keep working until the wee hours.
