Key command for plain text in Word X

Denny

I know how to use a key command to change selected text to bold, but I
cannot find the command to change selected bold text to plain. I know
how to do it from the formatting pallette.

I have searched the Word X help files but can find nothing that gives
a key command to remove either bold or italic formatting from selected
text.

If anyone knows how to do this I would appreciate hearing from them.

The key commands for bold and italic are toggles - if you type them
while the selected text is bold/italic, the bold/italic formatting
is removed from the selection.

in addition, CMD-Shift-z and CTRL-Spacebar key commands remove all
character formatting from text in the selection.

You can find out more about shortcut keys by looking up "shortcut
keys" in Word Help. The shortcuts above are listed under "Keys for
formatting characters and paragraphs".
