I am Rusty Dils, I own Southwest Machinery & Equipment
I purchased years ago a legal copy of front page 2000.
I guess one of my kids deleted it off of my computer, I have the original
cd's,
but I do not have the original case, with the key #.

I am trying to reinstall on my computer so I can update my website, But it
ask for the key. How can I optain this information from microsoft without
paying a fee of $49.00. I also bought microsoft office proffesional about a
year and 1/2 ago, is it possible I could access microsoft using this program,
and ask them for the key
to my front page,

Darn, that might not work for Office 2000 products. You could try
searching for software with keywords such as front page 2000 license
product key.

Sorry, you're asking in the wrong place. This newsgroup is for questions
about Access, the database product that's part of Office Professional.

You might try asking in a newsgroup related to FrontPage.

Also, you should definitely not post your real address to public newsgroups.
Sad as it seems, there are many unscrupulous people out there who will
"harvest" your e-mail address, and sell it to spammers.

Hi

We had the same problem - well almost - our office cleaner dumped some cd
cases that had the prodict ID cert on them - when we had a problem (some
little **** did something to our print server to get round the office
firewall ----- anyway)

We reloaded XP and when asked for the key we simply called microsoft and
exlained what had happen and gave them the product codes (this will load when
you reload frontpage, access, word, or any other ms product. Yep - microsoft
gave us the keys over the phone.

Who say Mr Gates aint the nicest person in the world.

So give them a call when you have the product code and ask. They can only
say yes or no and it's only $49 if they say no.
