keyboard and office xp

hi all, i'm having problems with my office xp programs.
my keboard is not working properly.the characters are
wron.if i tipe leter s i wet leter o and the rest of the
keys are giving me different leters.
this is only hapenning in office xp and internet explorer.
norton is not findig any virus in my sistem and ad-aware
is not finding anything ether. all my updates are up to
date.
all other progams are working fine.
