Keyboard error

The following signs are reversed on the keypad. @ and ". In other words I
have to hit the @ sign to get inverted commas and visa versa.
Any ideas how to correct this annoying problem?

This suggests you have the wrong keyboard layout enabled (European if you're
in the U.S. or vice versa).

I an experiencing something like that - two special characters (nordic
characters) have swapped places. The regional settings are right, and it
works fine in any other application, we only see this problem in Word (2002).
Any idea?

Keyboard shortcuts? Check in Tools | Customize | Keyboard.

Managed to fix it... It was not a keyboard shortcut, but a language (Danish)
which seemd to influence on the keyboard even if all was set to Norwegian...

I removed the Danish from the lists and reset all possible choices to
Norwegian, and then it was right.
