Please help. I have a keyboard error or hotkey error. When I now type in word
2007 documents the period symbol is typing a semi colon. I can not find how
to change the format, style or short cut key. Could some please tell me how
to correct the problem.

Thank you,

This might solve your problem:

For Windows XP:
1. Go to the Windows Control Panel.
2. Run Regional and Language Options in Windows XP.
3. Click on the "Languages" tab, and then the "Details..." button.

For Windows Vista:
1. Go to the Windows Control Panel
2. Click on "Change keyboards..."
3. In the "Keyboards and Languages tab", click on "Change Keyboards..."

Make sure that you only have one keyboard installed, and that it is the
correct keyboard. For a standard United States keyboard with "QWERTY" on the
top row, the list of keyboards should say:
- English (United States)
Keyboard
- US
