Keyboard filter key?, now everytime I type each stroke makes nois

When I held down my shift key a message came up to ask something about
keyboard filters, i cliekced something and now...Each time I touch a key the
systems beeps, I cannot hit the same key muleiple times without haveing to
wait a few seconds in between each stroke.

how do i fix this

I have XP Pro, Office 2003
does not nor can I find "Filer keys" through control panel or Search on system
when I want to type the same letter more than once or hit the arrow key for
quick advancement I have to press that key, then pause, then press that key
again in order for it to work more than one time. My keyboard also makes
noise each time I hit the keys

Start|Settings|Control Panel|Accessiblity Options| Filter keys
