Keyboard function keys disabled... How do I re-enable??

I have somehow turned off the function keys (F2, F9, etc.) on my keyboard
that, when working, would show formula links in a cell or calculate the
spreadsheet. How do I re-enable them?? I have no idea... Thanks.
