Keyboard Functionality

My first time on this server plus I'm a newbie with a newbie type question.
My keyboard is standard 101/102 and my pute has just been re-done but the
'top' buttons (ie my computer, calculator, sleep, web/home & etc) dont
work.........I just get the standard microsoft beep when pressed.
Can one of you guys tell me how to fix this?
I looked at the driver area and my system says its using the optimum one
from its database.

I also just noticed that graphics/images arent showing up on www sites,
anyone know what is going on here too?
(sorry to bug you guys if this is fundamental stuff, but I'm just someone
who's in need at the moment.)

If it were you asking a particular question I am sure you would rather
someone helped rather than just strutted their useless prowess in front of
the world.
So, are you gonna help or are you just gonna keep pretending you are the be
all end all, and then find out one day that you just may need my help and I
wont be available due to remembering you in the youth of my computer growth.
