I recently upgraded my Dell Dimension 4100 from Windows ME to Windows XP. I
am running Office 2000 small business. I have several macros that are
intiated by a Ctrl+shift+letter, a system I have been using through Windows
95, ME and now XP with Office 97 and 2000. Since I updated to Windows XP,
the macros will not initiate using Ctrl+shift+letter if the Caps Lock is ON.
It is OK if Caps Lock is OFF. Embedded functions such as Ctrl+shift+: to
enter time, work irrespective of the Caps Lock status. Macros initiated in
WORD with a Ctrl+shift+letter also work irrespective of the Caps lock status.
Windows XP and Office have been reloaded with no change in operation.
Microsoft had no solutions to date. Has anyone else seen this or have an
idea about what is going on.
Thanks
