Keyboard settings

I have a computer from US. How and where can I change the keyboard from
English to German setting so that I can use letters like ä, ö, ü, é etc?

You will need a German keyboard to have the key caps with the correct
designations, but you can map any keyboard to the required pattern from
Windows Regional settings.

Hi,

[alt shift] switches the keyboard layout from the
current language layout to the next available language layout.
It cycles through all available language layouts.
