Keyboard shortcut for table-sorting inactive?

In Access 2007 Ctrl + Shift + A is listed as the keyboard shortcut for
performing an ascending sort on a field in a table, ditto + Z for descending.
This combination has not worked for me, in situations where the mouse-click
sort has worked.
Any suggestions?
