Keyboard Shortcut to Make a New Folder

T

Tania

There are keyboard shortcuts for everything in Windows Explorer, except for
'Create New Folder'.
I can Ctrl C to Copy, Ctrl V to paste, etc... but nothing to make a new
folder. I must always right click and create a new folder that way...

Can you please create a keyboard shortcut for a new folder?

I think another area where a shortcut would be useful is in the generic Save
dialog box that is used in almost every Windows app. There is an icon that
you can use to create a new folder or you can right-click in the file display
area to do the same thing. But some of us are more proficient with the
keyboard. You can't even tab to that button. I'm pretty sure that people
need to create new folders very often so I don't see why Microsoft hasn't put
this shortcut in the window.
