keyboard shortcut?

is there a way to add keyboard shortcuts to specific submenu items eg i
access the custom animation submenu often and would like to do it withthe
keyboard instead of using the mouse.

If not, is there a way to keep the custom animation dialog box on the screen
when working n normal view mode.

Finally, as per an earlier post as yet unanswered, has anyone had success
with the text transparency effect on ppt 2004 with OSX? I see some effect
with a red text on my blue background, but white text is pretty much
unchanged)

Thank you all

I'm not sure what you're asking for here. Do you want a keyboard shortcut
to launch a particular menu item? Panther (OS X 10.3) includes a facility
to create keyboard shortcuts. Open System Preferences, and then go to
Keyboard & Mouse Preferences. There you should find a Keyboard Shortcuts
tab that will allow you to create a keyboard shortcut for a menu command.

Or do you mean that you want to navigate the menus using the keyboard? You
can do that too. Go to System Preferences, and then open Keyboard & Mouse
Preferences. Click the Keyboard Access tab, and then choose to turn on full
keyboard access. Then you can use the shortcuts provided to navigate menus
using the keyboard.

I don't think so. It's a good suggestion though. Be sure to send your
feedback to Microsoft. In Entourage X or 2004, go to Help -> Send Feedback
on Entourage. Otherwise, click on this direct link to enter Mac Product

Thanks for your reply,

in answer to your question, i was trying to get a keyboard shortcut to
launch a particular menu - the slide show- Custom Animation menu in ppt
2004.

Turns out the trick was to have the program off when i did it and to know
that sometimes an wllipsis is just three periods!

Thanks again
