keyboard shortcuts for macros added to menus

I have added macros to word XP's menu bar. I would like to assign them
shortcut keys (not accelerator keys -- I know how to do that -- I mean like
the way Ctrl+O appears next to Open on the File menu).

I have successfully added shortcut keys using Customize Keyboard. But the
shortcut keys do not display next to the macros in the menus. They will not
be much use to my users if they don't know they exist because they don't
appear in the menus.

Does anyone know how to make shortcut keys appear for macros added to menus?
