Keyboard shortcuts for time in Pocket Excel

We are currently using a pocket PC with pocket excel to score a large
experiment. It is necessary to record the time of day beside each
observation. Obviously the =now() function is not particularly suitable. In
excel 2003 ctrl+shift+; returns the time while ctrl+; returns date. In pocket
excel both shortcuts retun the date only. Has anyone experienced this problem
or know a work around?

Hi Andrew,
I assume macros are not available on a Pocket PC. If you can assign shortcut
key combinations, possibly Ctrl+SHIFT +(colon) got overridden.
