Keyboard shortcuts

Is there a way to make a keyboard shortcut for the "ground" symbol? I would like to be able to use the keyboard shortcut to enter it in string of text. It may already be accesible, but I am unaware of the code.

You could try typing GRND where you need the symbol, then do a search and
replace with a special "wingding" character after a while.
