I have a user who types in Outlook 2007 using XP PRO and the multi-
language proofing tools 2007.
He has been using this combo of applications for some time, but very
recently this problem started.
When he is typing in the body, the keyboard will stop moving
forward...you can't wait it out...it won't go - he does this little
backspace, space combo and it will work again for a few more
characters - it is quite inconsistent - works for a while then stops -
will work again in a new paragraph - but maybe not...
I re-imaged the entire machine after trying many other things and *the
problem persists.* All updates are on the machine.
It does not happen in the header area or in appointments, only in the
body when he is drafting a message. It Never happens in English -
only in Cyrillic type-set (Russian) or also in other type-sets - we
tried Greek - it did the same thing.
It also happens regardless of changing the text to plain text, HTML,
or RTF?.
It also does not matter which email editor you have chosen...
Has anyone in the world besides us experienced this? His work around
right now is to type it in WORD and paste it into the body of the
message.
Please help!
