Keyboard types incorrect letters

I recently createdtwo new user accounts and in each of the new ones I have
specific keyboarding problems that are not occurring in the original.
This happens in every application under that user including Notepad and even
in this dicussion group editing. I have tested with an external keyboard and
the same problem occurs. However, this problem does not happen in my main
User.
Can anyone suggest a fix please....
The keyboarding problem is as follows:
question key = É
backslash key = é
forward key = à
above forward key = À
upper brackets next to P key = ¨
lower brackets next to P key = ^
quotation marks = È
apostrophe = è
less than = '
greater than = "
