I recently installed the latest Office update (Entourage 12.1.5) and keep getting the annoying password pop-up. I have followed the suggestions in other similar posts: Send and Receive work fine as long as I enter the passwords for both accounts each time. I have run Keychain repair and no errors were detected. I deleted the keychains, deleted and recreated the accounts, and I still get the pop-up messages.

Well, I was not having any issues with this until I installed the recent Entourage update. Also, as I stated, when I enter the passwords it connects and Sends/Receives with no problems. So I highly doubt it is the ISP.

I get the same thing from time to time and comes from ATT/Yahoo. There
is a box you can check slow it down but you have to check into their web
mail and look under options. At first I thought it was Entourage but I
am now pretty sure it was (and still is sometimes) ATT/Yahoo. It has
nothing to do with the Office 12.1.5 update. Just Yahoo lameness!

This issues is being discussed in another thread. See the thread: "entourage
12.1.5 update password problems" for more details.

The problem can be solved by some by simply logging out/in or restarting.
Other users have had to revert to an older backup copy of Office then
update. Seems reverting to 12.1.4 did not work. You need to get back to an
earlier version. The developers are trying to track down what happened.

Personally, I had Office installed on two volumes. One updated without
problem and the other experienced the password problem, but only for some
accounts. The second volume that updated without problem was a clone of the
original. Go figure....
