keystroke delayed

While typing an email I held down a key too long and a box appeared
midscreen. I thought I dismissed it but obviously I didn't because now all
of my keystrokes require that I press and hold each one down at least one
second to type a letter or space. How do I undo this so I can type at a
normal speed?

Check Cntl Panel, Accessibility Options for Sticky Keys settings. These can
be activated by certain key strokes. A pain in the neck, IMO.

Thanks Mary - The problem I had has been resolved. I simply had to hold down
the shift key for an extended period of time and that unlock my "dragging key
strokes!
