Keystroke to edit data in selected cell

Does anyone know what key to hit to edit data within the cell that you
have selected? (Excel v.x) For example, a cell that already has text
in it is selected by mouse click or arrow key. To edit the current text
in the cell you have to either double click the cell, or click up in
the edit field on the toolbar. I want to be able to keyboard navigate
to a cell, and hit a key so I can go in and edit it's contents, then
hit return and move on to the next one. On the PC version I think it's
F2, but that's an Edit menu operation on Excel v.X.
Thanks
Dan

From the "Keys for editing data" section of the "Keyboard Shortcuts"
topic in Help:

CONTROL+U Edit the active cell

Thanks so much, I was looking in the wrong place in help. Now, I
wonder if that shortcut can be changed...
