if your printer driver does not support reduction (some do, some do not)
then you will need to get the poster out of the original document as
something that can be imported into a new document that you set up with
the needed size.
jpg-tiff-png-wmf-emf: all these are possibly useful intermediates for
you. you can save the pub doc as one of these formaty using Save As on
the file menu.
