knowledge base: entries by exact error message text

Applies to Microsoft products in general: it would be helpful to be able to
look up an error message, find an article whose title matches the text of the
error message, and read about possible causes of the error message. In this
case, I have received "Interface not registered" on trying to either send or
save an Outlook email. No exact match is found in the knowledge base. (In
other cases and with other products I have had the unhelpful message
"Unspecified error" - ?)

I gather that because you posted your QUESTION as a "Suggestion
for Microsoft", you prefer to get a vote instead of an answer.
Therefore, I suggest that you search this newsgroup for the error
message, where you will find that I and others here have offered
suggestions to other people who received the same error message,
and many of these other people successfully followed our
suggestions to resolve the problem. And fyi, there are at least
FIVE Knowledge Base articles that contain your exact error
message in the article title.
