Hi,
I have a spreadsheet that I use to translate English text to various
languages, including Korean.
When I installed Office 97 on another laptop, some of the Korean displayed
correctly and others were being displayed as boxes.
I then installed the "ValuPack\FarEast\Korean" setup and also went to
Control Panel\Regional and Language Options\Languages and selected "Install
files for East Asian languages".
After the reboots, the Korean now correctly displays in the body of the
excel file. Great!
However, the Korean is still displayed as boxes in the input line (just
below the moveable toolbar). Any reason why it is not displayed correctly
here? I tried checking for Office Updates from the MS sites, but no joy.
Thanks,
Alain
