Label Mail Merge

I am merging 1186 records from xl in XP Pro onto an avery
7161 label, I get the merge to work but when I look at
page 2 all it does is remove the first address and move
the second one to the start so i end up with 1186 pages
of 18 labels to print when I should only be printing 66
pages of labels?

It sounds as if you are /previewing/ the merge. You need to complete the
merge (e.g. merge to printer, or merge to a new document then print it, if
you want to be sure it works before committing to paper :) )

In the mailmerge main document, each label other than the first one on the
sheet should have a <<Next Record>> field before the first mergefield in the
cell. Either these got deleted somehow, or the "Replicate Label" step got
missed.
