I have Word 2000 and often do mail merge labels. They always merge into
alphabetical order horizontally across the rows. How can I get the data to
merge vertically down the columns?
If it's vertical, I can very quickly label a large number of documents. I
do this by attaching the labels to the edge of a table (just the left side
of the labels ... folding the entire column off the backing paper a
half-inch enables me to affix the entire column of labels to the table edge
all at once), pick them off with my fingertips and quickly affix them to
documents. Often, the documents need to be alphabetized, and vertical
printing would be the easiest way.
TIA ... Lobo
