Label Templates Problem

Hi all,
I m trying to merge a label template. The Steps i m taking are as
follows.

I show a word label template in a browser.
2.Let User Add the properties/Merge fields specified in the XSD
schema.

3. Now when i m trying to merge the data for multiple Entities ,the
template is getting merged but i m getting multiple pages instead of a
single document.

For merging purpose i m using DOM to merge the nodes/fields in the
word2003Professional with SP1.
