Yes, you can have several data series in a scatter chart in PPT. Just put
the data in the appropriate row. To see an example, insert a new chart,
which should default to a column chart with 3 data series. Right-click and
choose Chart Type. Select the XY Scatter type. When you hit OK, the chart
will change to a scatter chart with East, West and North data series.
Additionally, sometimes my data looks like this for a scatter chart:
2 4 5 2 4 6 2 4 8
series A
series B
series C

Basically, repeat your axis values on the top row as necessary. I find that
that lets me keep my data together when the axis values aren't exactly the
same.
