Labels in Word 2003

I am trying to print a page of Avery L7163 labels in Word 2003.

I want to print each label with a separate address manually typed in.
If I get the label outlines on the screen the cursor is halfway down
the first label.

How do I carry this relatively simple task out. I used to do it with
no problem but has some update changed it?

The vertical alignment is set to Center. This keeps the address perfectly
centered on the lable as you type. If you wish to change this setting, go to
"Table Properties" under "Table". Select the "Cell" tab and change the
alignment to either Top or Bottom.

Problem cured with many thanks. I had to set alignment in each 'cell'
but no major problem.

I do think that the MS way of printing labels is now very unhelpful.

You shouldn't have to seat the alignment in each 'cell'. You can do it for
the whole table. Select the table - then table > table properties > cell.
tables use the normal paragraph style by default. There is nothing to stop
you applying any style, paragraph of font formatting.

I do think that the MS way of printing labels is now very unhelpful.

Labels are tables. Table formatting has changed little over the years
