I have a problem with my machine. When I select tools,
envelopes and labels and select a new document for labels
(L7163), the label guide-lines are not showing up. This is
also evident from some custom templates I have for other
labels, the guide-lines do not show up. These guide-lines
are not lines that are printed on the labels, they just
show up the label layout for inputting text. They used to
work and now they are gone. Cannot figure it out. Any
help, gratefully appreciated. Thanks.

Word refers to these as gridlines. You can turn them ON or
OFF from the drawing menu. If you don't see your drawing
toolbar, click...

View | Toolbars | Drawing

...after displaying the toolbar, click...

Draw | Grid: and select Display gridlines on screen.

Table gridlines are different from the drawing grid. The gridlines for
labels are turned on via Table | Show Gridlines.
