Labels with company logo in corner, and text to the right

I am trying to make mailing retun labels with the company logo, then to the
right the return address. When in word I use tools > envelopes & labels >
New document I get the page layed out with all the label boxes. Now my
problem is when i want to put the logo in the corner of the box
(height/length is about 2.5 cm X 5 cm's) I can fit it in by resizing and it
is OK. Now the big problem is getting the return adress text to the rigth of
the logo. When I type the text is at the bottom of the label box by the
logo, not at the top of the label box by the logo.

I am about to go crazy with this, please help.

Thanks in advance

The best way is probably to split each label in two vertically (Labels are
really only tables with fixed cell dimensions) and size the left half of the
cell so that your logo fits and leaves the required space for your return
address.

See the article "Graphics on Labels" on fellow MVP Graham Mayor's website at

I am still having problems, If I split the label in 2 colums I still need the
rows to write the address on. I split the label in 2 and have the logo in
the right side but I have a line in the center separating the 2 sides and
when I go to the right to type the address I end up typing at the bottom of
the label not the top of the range?

I am new to these features of Word, I have in the past just done the most
basic stuff.

No one said it would be easy - if you want easy use Publisher.
Tne method shown in the link does not involve splitting the labels
vertically. That method is shown in the link at
http://www.gmayor.com/mail_merge_graphics.htm .
The 'line' in the centre would be a cell border. It can be hidden just like
any other table cell border. The alignment of text in cells is set from the
table properties dialog - Cell.

I had to conquer this problem not long ago and decided to use one text box
for the graphic on the left and another text box for the return address on
the right. Perhaps this will help.
