I have created my own Normal.dot document for Word 2003 all I did was add a
footer with the path to the file. Now when I print a label out of word and
try to position it to a cetain place example, 3rd row 2nd column it prints in
a different position. Does anyone know how to fix this problem and keep the
template that I have created? Thanks for any answers!!

No. Do not put headers or footers in the Normal.Dot template for this
reason.

Rename normal.dot to mydocs.dot. Word will create a new blank template
(which it needs for labels) and you can create documents with the footer
from mydocs.dot.
