Labels

I am trying to make labels using mail merge with Word Mac x. I have
done this before on PCs OK but now have two problems.

Having set up custom labels and included text and artwork I set mail
merge fields from an Excel spreadsheet. I find that all ten labels on
the sheet have the same record. Also the first record is the one from
line 11 of the Excel sheet. If I have the preview on when I add the
merge field, record one (line two) does flash up but it immediately
flicks to line 11.

What am I doing wrong???

Hi,

If you use the Labels feature on the toolbar you will create a document
of all the same label unless you click the Data Merge button in the
lower left corner.

The Data Merge button will activate the data merge manager, which is a
little more sophisticated but (at least I think so) easier to use and
definitely more powerful than the PC Mail Merge Manager and Mail Merge
Task Pain.

I was using the data merge manager and I still do not know what I was
doing wrong. However I started from scratch again the next day and
after a few hours blood sweat and tears got it working OK. The labels
are quite complicated with images etc.
Anyway thanks very much for your help.
