LAN Permissions on Secured Databases

T

TNR

I have a front and back end database that is secured. Logins all work. I put
it out on our LAN with the intensions of putting the back end data tables in
a folder with permissions that will stop anyone from getting at the raw data.
My login for the LAN is administrative so that is where it is created. I
added the other users in the sucurity permissions for the table.

When I login as one of the user on the LAN and then I log into access with
their ID, it does not let me have access to the tables.

When I login as one of the users on the LAN and then I log into access using
the admin account I set up, I can get accesss to the tables.

I've given both databases access to the tables.

It totally works when its opened in the environment it was created in but
not when it begins to read the LAN permissions.

Thank you for any help.
