Language Changes

David

Hi

I have received an email in Hungarian. when opening this document on my
Windows based machine this is fine. But when I open this email on my
macintosh, running os X certain characters are changed making the language
unreadable.

I can copy the text from the word document and paste it to an email and then
send it to myself and copy this text from the email and paste it into the
Macintosh word and this pastes perfectly. But I need to be able to open up
this document on my mac...

I hope someone can help

thanks

What version of Word, and what font is used in the document? What kind of
characters have problems? What change is made?

David:

Sorry: Mac Word 2004 handles Unicode and will display those Hungarian
characters if you have fonts that contain them. Earlier versions of Word
Mac can't.

Cheers
