language confusion

I have a computer thati has windows XP SP@ installed, OEM, and also Office
2000 from Hungary. Now, I don't read hungarian. All of the programs are
coming up in hungary, including messenger, outlook, and even explorer when I
try to go to microsoft help. I've tried to change the language in control
panel, but haven't succeeded. My desktop is in english, but when I open
programs I get Hungarian. In fact, when I go to Googe, I get Google
hungarian. What do I need to do?

I bought this , with the product keys for the programs, but I didn't know it
was a hungarian office 2000. I still don't know why it has made my other XP
stuff hungarian. That was a standard OE English install from Acer. Ireally
don't want to have to install all over again, especially if it will give the
same results.

Office is available in several dozen localized language versions. You
bought a Hungarian language version. Installing it all over again will
not change that fact. The only way to change the Office menu interface
language to English is by uninstalling the Hungarian version and
purchasing/installing an English version.
