After I type a document in english how do I convert the document to french

Hire a translator.

There are some web sites that purport to translate, but they're mediocre at
best. Word (2003, at least, perhaps other versions as well) can translate a
single word at a time, and sometimes a phrase, but cannot translate text
wholesale, and certainly needs the guidance of a linguist to correctly
translate.
