Language mixture

Today I installed english versions of MS Project 2007 and Project 2003 on a
PC, were previously a german version of Project 2003 was installed. Both
english versions are working fine, but the are showing in some menus (e.g.
"Filters" and "Views") elements of the older, not longer existing german
version. This mixed user interface is confusing. How can I remove the old
text elements?

Hi Claus,
Your Global.mpt file contains a mixture of English and German views.
You can try to clean it in the Organizer : Tools / Organizer / View (and the
same for Filters): select the German view and click on the Delete button.
If you don't have important customized view in your Global.mpt file, you can
delete (or rename ;-) this file on your hard disk. MS Project will
regenerate a brand new one.

Same problem here. I created a project in the french version, and when i open
it in the english version, the view menu contain both languages

I didn't find what to do in the Tools / Organizer / View
I deleted the global.mpt and no change

Delete the views or filters in the language you don't want.

The deletion of Global.mpt will be efficient only for the projects you will
create in the future. Old projects with mixed languages in their views will
keep their mixed views.
