I have an iMac and PowerBook G4, both running OS X 10.2.8. Both
running WORD for Mac Service Release 1.
On the PowerBook the Tool menu lists the option "Language" and
permits me to select any of several languages that I may use to spell
check.
The iMac does not provide that option. I am limited to English spell
check.
On both machines I can locate proofing tools for many languages in the
filepath: Applications/Microsoft Office X/Shared Applications/ Proofing
Tools.
The tools are active on the PowerBook, not on the iMac.
Using the Value Pack CD, I reinstalled the proofing tools on the iMac
with no result.
How do I activate these proofing tools? Same operating systems, same
version of WORD? Same proofing tools on both. BUT accessible only
on one. What's the problem? I want to spellcheck my French.
Your guidance will be much appreciated.
