Language Pack 2007 (beta) - German

Hi,

along with the B2 I installed the a.m. language pack. Then installed the BTR
and expierinced some serious troble, which seems to be related to the
grammar/spell checking whilst typing a html message in outlook 2007 btr.
Hence de-installed the Language Pack, which process seemed to have finshed
ok, yet it remained an entry in the windows (xp sp2 en) "add or remove
programs" panel. When I would click it now it comes up with following setup
error:

This product installation has been corrupted. Run setup again from the CD,
DVD, or other original installation source.

I am certainly not interested to run the setup of the language pack again,
being afraid of messing with the BTR, yet wondering of how to clean up this?
Has MS also released an updated language pack?

Cheers

You probably have no other choice than remove all of Office 2007, and
reinstall all Beta 2 applications you want (including the language
pack). You then need to apply the B2TR patch. On the same page that you
downloaded the B2TR in English, change the language to German and get
the full German B2TR patch. You need to install the German B2TR patch to
patch the German language pack to B2TR.

Thanks indeed for the input. However I do not have the time to go through all
this instances. Although and I am aware that this is still beta it is quite a
bit of unsound coding. One would expect something better from an entity with
such resources. At least MS could have issued a warning or something to make
users aware.

Cheers
