several months ago I purchase online a language pack for Office 2007.
recently my hard drive crashed. i purchased a new hard drive and now would
like to get the language pack back. does anyone know how I get this back?

Go to this page and click "Customer Service". If you have your order
number, the email address you used to order it, or the purchase date it will
help them considerably. If you didn't purchase extended download or make a
backup copy of the download file you may be out of luck.

Thanks for the tip. It did help. Sorry for the long response. The email
notice I got provided a link that did not work. I just found the time to sit
down and track down the answer.
