Language problems in Outlook

Hi everybody,
Hopefully someone can help me out. I just bought a acer laptop in Thailand,
the laptop is fine. I have made all possible language selections to be
English, but when i install Office the all the folder names in outlook are in
Thai with Thai letters, all other programs like excel are fine. I have tried
all possibilities, but no result. And i can not even change the folder names.
I have imported all my previous emails and their folders use normal
characters.
Is there anybody who has experienced this problem before or has any
suggestions on how to fix this?

What version of Windows do you have - Thai, English, or MUI (Vista?)?
What version of Office do you have - Thai, or English?

Hi Pat,
The computer originally had vista but i recently changed it with XP, to be
honest i do not know if it is an English or Thai version. But i have changed
all possible language settings to be non-Thai, i.e. English. I have an
english 2003 version of Office.
Please note that all the other office programs are fine, they are all in
English. And even in Outlook "file", "edit", view" ...etc.. are in English.
It is only the folders on the left side which continue to be in Thai letters,
such as "inbox folders". I have tried just renaming the folders, but i am not
allowed this option. I have imported all my previous emails, and they are in
normal folders with english letters.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling office, but the problem remains
the same.

It must be some settings in Windows that Outlook looks at, then
determines that it should use Thai for folder names. Check 'Regional and
Language Options' in your Control Panel, and make sure that all options
are set to 'English'. E.g. on the first tab there is a 'Location'
setting; mine is set to 'Japan', and this causes many things to
automatically change to Japanese (e.g. all Microsoft websites).
