Hi all.

After having searched about in all internet, I've to ask here, hoping
to find a solution.

I should manage all e-mail I receive in a specific account, by
language (or country).
The closest solution I'vew found is reading the "InternetCodepage"
property in message item, but that is not enough for me.

I really would to know from wich part of the world is this message or
wich language is used in te message body, but I cannot find a good
solution.

At this moment I've used several rules that check some keywords to
understand in wich language is the message, but is very nasty way for
my opinion.

Someone know a good way to do that?

Thanks,
Andrea

For instance, I'm writing from Germany in English. How should the
application know what language I'm using? I think there're only two ways:
Continue to use keywords or have all your senders add that information
manually.

I understand what you mean, but I need the country, not the language.
I mean, if you write from Germany or Austria, I will put you in German
folder, even if you write me in english (ok, from Switzerland can be a
problem, I know), because I will answer in german. I've though I can
use some tool that check from wich country is the e-mail domain, or
something like that... maybe a public webservice, but webservices vs
VBA.... mmm.... :) And anyway, I have to find that webservice.

I think, you could check the domain without a webservice. Create a lookup
table for all languages in which you could answer and put all other, then
unkown domains, together with what your prefered language is.

However, I've org, net and de addresses. And I know some German (and other)
companies with com addresses, although they're not located in US or UK. I
still don't see how that should work reliably.
