Hi,
I have a laptop I recently formatted and re-installed
win98SE as well as officexp. I have been trying to
install language support (Japanese) to be able to type as
well as read in Japanese but to no avail.
I have gone through ms site and have downloaded the
japanese language file as well as the IME for it... I
installed the japanese language first (all ok) as per
instructions then tried installing the IME but it came up
with msg indicating that one or more components missing
and would not complete installation and that i needed to
check download site for info... i have searched everywhere
on ms site but cannot find a list of requirements for
office xp prior to installation for language support...
when i installed 98SE, i put in multilingual support...
dunno if this has any affect on it at all when trying to
install language support for officexp....
could someone please assist... im going nuts trying to
find a solution... if worse comes to worse i cannot put a
higher os on my laptop as it does not meet the specs
required...
